“Jose showed up the same day I requested service. He was clean, on time and professional. Showed me the parts of the AC as he worked on them and explained how each worked and how he was testing them. He identified the source of my problem, and didn’t try to upsell me- just offered me several options to do routine maintenance of my AC. One day in the summer without air is enough! “I had another HVAC company come to fix my AC unit outside. They said my system was old and needed to replace everything. I thought that that was fishy so I informed them that my unit was only half the age that they claimed. They apologized and gave me a quote to fix instead. I decided to look for someone else. I called America's Price and Theodore came by, replaced my compressor and a few other parts, serviced, and cleaned my system for less than half of what the other guys were asking. Overall I was very very pleased. These guys will be my go-to for HVAC from now on.”

“Theodore and Jose came out to our daughter's house, and spent over 2 hours to diagnose the high level of humidity. We thought our A/C was the culprit.Turns out, it wasn't the A/C, but it was the insulation in the attic. They checked the refrigerant level and thermostat, and they even crawled in the attic in this heat. Remarkably, they did all the work without any charge. I even offered Theodore to send something to him, but he graciously turned it down by saying, "it was a good learning experience". I am so impressed with his integrity and honesty. “I cannot say enough good things about America’s Pride Heating & Air Conditioning and owner Theodore Hoelscher, along with his assistant, Jose. From start to finish, they were true professionals. They were always on time, worked incredibly hard, and their workmanship was meticulous. They replaced my A/C unit, but what really impressed me was that they took the time to investigate why my compressor had failed in the first place. No other HVAC company had ever done that for me, and it showed they genuinely care about doing the job right—not just replacing parts. Whenever I had questions, Theodore and Jose never made me feel rushed. As I was taking off the grate to clean it, the high limit switch wire came loose. Jose came out to reconnect the wire. He was very clean, efficient and went above and beyond to check the whole unit. “I called because I wanted a second opinion on my furnace. The first company recommended a replacement. Theodore said the furnace is old but the repair needed isn’t a major repair and got it done. We will definitely call him in the future to for the replacements and his price was affordable.”

“First, they responded faster than any other AC company. Time matters in a heat wave. Unlike most of the other respondents, Theo offered a text chat, and told me the potential causes of my issue and the average cost. Scheduled an appt and today Theo (the owner) showed up for the service. He was right about the text inspection, the capacitor had gone out. He also transparently talked about services they offered without the hard sell. It’s never fun to have an out of pocket expense, and sometimes folks offer stuff you don’t need. Not Theo. The “no hard sell” sell for me is the difference. He replaced the capacitor, cleaned the AC unit, and did a compressor boost to make sure I’m good to go. While I hope to not have other issues, going forward, I know it will be with America’s Pride Heating and Air Conditioning. Thanks, Theo!”
